Terms & Conditions

  1. TERMS: Full balance due upon receipt of statement on approved credit. Overdue accounts will be charged 2% interest per month, 26.77% per annum.
     
  2. QUOTATIONS: Where product quotations are supplied, either verbal or written, they will be in effect for 30 days from the date of quote. Prices quoted do not include Federal Goods & Services Tax or Provincial Social Tax.
     
  3. QUALITY: Our products are supplied in accordance with the most recent C.S.A. and A.S.T.M. product specifications or suppliers' specifications.
     
  4. CUSTOM ORDER PRODUCTS: are considered specialty items and are not carried in stock. No returns for credit will be allowed on specialty items due to the purchaser ordering in error, in excess of requirements, or due to jobsite changes beyond our control.
     
  5. COLOUR: We endeavor to manufacture our products in even colours, shades and textures, but cannot guarantee or be held responsible for differences in colours, shades or textures which may occur in daily manufacture.
     
  6. LOAD REQUIREMENTS: Minimum load charges are applied to all partial loads delivered by our company. Please contact us for other charges to surrounding areas and out-of-town loads. Waiting time and special unloading will be charged by the hour.
     
  7. NOTICE OF DELIVERY: We require at least 24 hours notice of your need for each delivery to ensure adequate service and to enable us to schedule our trucks and deliveries. No claims will be allowed because of delays in deliveries.
     
  8. DELIVERY CONDITIONS: The purchaser agrees to provide suitable roadways and entrances to points of delivery for our trucks, other than on paved streets. In the event the purchaser orders delivery beyond the curb line we do not assume liability for damage to sidewalks, driveways or other property. The seller shall not be responsible nor considered to be in default for delay in shipment due to causes beyond his control, such as acts of God, acts of government, acts of the buyer, strikes or lockouts.
     
  9. PRODUCT USAGE: The seller shall not be held responsible for jobsite workmanship associated with product usage.
     
  10. WARRANTY: Where warranty is given, whether verbal, written or implied, such warranty will be limited to the integrity of the product and of the sellers' responsibility for repair or replacement of defective product. Any labour or materials associated with replacement of defective product shall be the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
     
  11. PALLETS: Pallets and dunnage are charged out to the purchaser at the rate per pallet in effect at the time of purchase. Pallets returned to our yard will be credited at the same rate per pallet, provided pallets are not damaged.
     
  12. RETURNS: All products returned are subject to a 20% restocking charge.
     
  13. PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
     
  14. RETAINING WALL BLOCKS: Purchaser is responsible to have all soils tested and design of wall accepted by a certified engineer.
     
  15. PRE-BENCH MANHOLES: Purchaser is responsible for inspection of drop, grade, and angles prior to installation. Gaskets and sealing of manholes are the sole responsibility of purchaser.
     
  16. SEPTIC TANKS:
    - Purchaser is responsible for proper seal on all seams, inlets and outlets.
    - Please refer to Septic Tank Installation Guidelines sheet.
    - Standard Practice Manual must be followed.
    - Filter maintenance must be observed as per manufacturer/installer specs.
    - Removal of filter will void all warranty.
    - Not responsible for damage caused by water softeners. Proper precautions must be considered by homeowner/contractor.
    - Tanks delivered and installed by Grosso Pre-Cast will have a 10 year warranty.  Tanks delivered and installed by others are subject to a limited warranty.
